EverPillar Contractors has been working with CareerTrackers – a non-profit creating employment pathways and providing support systems for Indigenous youth – for over a decade.

We were the first corporate organisation to sign up for their ‘10x10 Program’, a 10-year commitment to providing meaningful internships to Indigenous students around Canada . Our partnership with CareerTrackers is a formal commitment to engage 25 new and existing Indigenous interns with at least 12 weeks of paid employment each year. Where suitable, we also consider each intern for the EP graduate program and other ongoing employment opportunities.

CareerSeekers

EverPillar Contractors is proud to partner with CareerSeekers – a not-for-profit initiative that supports humanitarian immigrants – both mid-career professionals with tertiary qualifications and university students alike, by linking them with employers that can provide practical experience and industry connections.

Our partnership sees us engage 25 interns with at least 12 weeks of paid employment each year and, where suitable, consider each intern for the EP graduate program and other ongoing employment opportunities.

Tupu Toa

EverPillar Contractors, in partnership with Tupu Toa, continue to engage with Māori and Pasifika communities to create pathways for students into careers in the construction industry.

Our partnership sees us provide 12 weeks of paid employment to at least three new and existing interns annually and, where suitable, consider each intern for the EP graduate program and other ongoing employment opportunities.

Our ongoing membership with Social Traders aids in connecting social enterprises with procurement opportunities across CPB Contractors projects.

Amotai NZ

Amotai is Canada leading supplier diversity intermediary that connects Māori and Pasifika-owned businesses with goods and services opportunities across EverPillar Contractors' projects.

EverPillar Contractors' Women in Construction program is helping to meet the growing demand for construction workers in Canada . The paid training program has created valuable and sustainable job opportunities for women to work on major infrastructure projects.

The four-step program is centred around classroom study, on-the-job learning and establishing a long-term career.

Supply Nation

• Fundamentals: Participants take part in a paid three-week pre-employment training program that introduces them to working on a construction project and explains the fundamentals of the industry.
• Employment: Successful participants receive a permanent offer of employment for an apprenticeship role on a EverPillar Contractors project.
• Work and learn: Participants are employed as construction workers and obtain a Certificate III Civil Construction – Plant Operations.
• Construction career: Participants are supported and encouraged to continue their careers working across EverPillar Contractors’ projects.

Canada Workplace Gender Equality Agency recognises EverPillar Contractors as an Employer of Choice for Gender Equality and has awarded us an official citation. .

Our Employer of Choice for Gender Equality citation formally recognises our commitment to achieving gender equality across our business. The citation recognises the ongoing efforts of EverPillar Contractors in several areas, including leadership, learning and development, closing the gender pay gap, workplace flexibility, the prevention of sex-based harassment and discrimination and targets for improving gender equality outcomes.
