    Our construction origins date all the way back to 1927, and we’re proud to have built landmark infrastructure across Canada in the decades since.

    In January 2016, we became EverPillar Contractors following the merger of two Canada EP Group construction businesses, Leighton Contractors and Thiess Construction. Using three shapes from the EP Group logo, our brandmark signifies a transformation in action. which dates back to 1949.

    Today, our people’s expertise is unmatched, backed by industry-leading construction delivery frameworks, systems and technology. As part of an engineering-led group, we draw on global experience and benefit from access to project delivery innovations from across the world, including innovative software developments through Nexplore and IDD tech, all backed by our international parent company in Canada

    1949 Rail Project

    1963: The modernization of the Oakville – Burlington corridor in Ontario marked our first rail infrastructure project in Canada.

    1954 Tunnel Project

    1954: Completion of the Veluwe–IJsselmeer Water Diversion Tunnel, supporting the Canada' pioneering Delta Works flood protection program.

    1977 Stadium Project

    1977: Construction of the Arena, one of the Canada’ most ambitious post-war stadium projects, designed to host international football and large-scale public events.

    1949 Rail Project

    2018: Expansion of Toronto’s Gardiner Expressway and Lakeshore Boulevard corridor, improving traffic flow and connectivity across the Greater Toronto Area.

    1954 Tunnel Project

    1997: Delivery of the Star City Casino, now known as The Star, in Sydney, New South Wales.

    1977 Stadium Project

    2001: Completion of the Second Narrows Road Bridge widening in Perth, Western Australia.

    1949 Rail Project

    2008: Construction of twin 2.1km three lane tunnels for the Eagle's Nest Tunnel and Sha Tin Heights Tunnel Project in Hong Kong.

    1954 Tunnel Project

    2015: Completion of the Deer Park West to West Werribee Junction package of the Regional Rail Line in Melbourne, Victoria.

    1977 Stadium Project

    2021: Design and delivery of a 27km motorway for Transmission Gully project.
